Chapter Two: Booking Essentials
We've thought of everything...
Dads, you're included
One course place includes attendance of both Mum and Dad, with content relevant to both. We recognise that today's generation of Dads want to be much more involved and we want to make this the parenting 'norm'.
Weekends well Spent
We didn’t want this to be something that only the Mums could attend, so we made the decision to hold courses on a weekend. BUT, we realised that the experience of attending a Parenting Chapter course would need to extend beyond the course content. SO, the venue alone – The Mondrian Hotel at Sea Containers House, is worth the trip and is very child-friendly. You could even make a day of it as the hotel is on London’s South Bank and in close proximity to The Tate, The London Eye, The London Aquarium and much more.
Children are welcome
Really, they are. We have room for prams inside the room – even alongside the seating for those parents with teeny babies. We will have a range of toys at the back of the room during every course session, but please note that parents will still need to supervise their child at all times, as it isn’t a crèche facility.
So no need to get the tube to the venue if you commute into London Blackfriars station (8-minute walk), London Waterloo station (11-minute walk) or London Bridge station (20-minute walk). Southwark tube station is an 8-minute walk.
